  • What is the lead time?

  • What disruption is there?

We pride ourselves on project managing the entire project for you and therefore disruption is an absolute minimal.  All design elements are agreed prior to the project starting and our office is open 5 days a week for any questions or queries you may have whilst your project is being completed. You will have an overall project manager responsible for your project who will be living and breathing your build until fully complete!  Our complete project management if what really sets us apart.

  • What paving do I choose?

We will assist you with the many options available to you and provide both brochures and samples where required.  Paving choices can sometimes be dictated by budget or indeed the design concept we are creating.  Either way we have many ways to assist you with this.

  • Should I have artificial lawn?

Artificial lawn is a fantastic product for solving certain problems that you may be facing.  Shady spaces, high footfall areas for children to play and enjoy ball games and even doggy zones. We can offer various grasses for different purposes and appearances. We still love a manicured stripy lawn but sometimes you have to evaluate your lifestyle and see  what works best for your garden area.

  • Can I have a low maintenance garden?

Low maintenance gardens are very popular now due to our ever demanding lives and all of us being time poor!   We can create extremely low maintenance garden solutions for you from Artificial Lawn, to carefully selected trees and shrubs. A low maintenance garden doesn't need to be boring or not colourful.

  • What trees and plants should I choose?

We specialise in soft landscape so are able to provide suggestions of plants and trees based on your preferences and size/position of your garden. We can provide expert advice and talk through what would work in your space.

  • Cleaning, snagging and finishing

Our pet hate in our industry is the lack of finesse and attention to detail with fully completing projects and leaving site clean and tidy. At Stock Gardens we don’t leave site and move to the next project until yours is completely finished, site cleaned and detailing complete.

  • Should I replace my lawn?

If your lawn is damaged beyond 50% of its visible space, then it may advisable to lift, remove and simply re-turf your lawn. We can very successfully top dress and over seed large lawn spaces to create a fresh new looking lawn, however the over riding question is time.  Are you looking for an instant result?

  • Maintaining my landscape and garden

If you have just invested a large sum of your hard earned money into your garden landscape we would highly recommend you consider professional garden maintenance. On average we go onto maintain around 80% of the gardens we build.

  • Payments?

All payments for work are invoiced to you and stage payments are set up consisting of a deposit, mid project and balance on completion.  All payments are plus VAT and preferred method of payment is bank transfer.  We can also offer you the option of credit card payment subject to a small admin fee.
